What I Wore: Zip-Front Fly Away Tunic

Monday, August 21, 2017

I sometimes forget to swing by Ashley Stewart to pick up a new look, but when I do, I always pick up something great..like this white zip-front, sleeveless tunic. It's an amazing top. I love the way it flows in the wind, and it comes in right above the hips to still give the wearer a feminine figure. It's also the perfect top for this extreme heat we've been having. I've lived in Houston for about 7 years now, and I still struggle every Summer. I know the intense heat is coming...but it's seriously hot y'all...especially in August.

I put this look together for work. Since the top is white and a tad see-through, I paired it with a gray body shaper from Old Navy. I don't think they're called body-shapers at Old Navy but I reuse the name from New York & Company. Basically, it's just a camisole/spaghetti strap tank like the ones below. These are essentials in my closet and have them in almost every color. They're great for see-through tops, under blazers, or just to lounge around the house. I've even wear some to workout in!
