ELEVATE YOUR HOSTING GAME: Jewelry For Your Table by Lisa Guerrero

Tuesday, April 18, 2017

It's a good thing hosting a grand party isn't limited to Christmas time, because that's when I actually took these photos! Hahahaha. I'm so bad, but I'm gradually catching up on all my blog posts. And aren't blog posts evergreen anyway?  The great thing about this post is that it works for every season  or holiday. Whether you're hosting a dinner party at Christmas, or Easter Brunch, you can use these ideas for any table scape. What ideas am I referring to? Lisa Guerrero's DIY ideas of course! Near the end of last year, Lisa,  Investigative Reporter for Inside Edition, was in town to promote her new book; Jewelry for Your Table (JFYT). JYFT is a fabulous book that shows you step by step how to create amazing napkin ring holders out of vintage jewelry.  The bejeweled napkin holders really step up any table décor.  Just look at the cover of the book (below)!. It's enough to draw anyone in!

I had the pleasure of chatting with Lisa before her Meet & Greet event. You can read my interview with her here. The event was held at Thinking Girls Boutique & Studio.  This was my first time in the boutique, and I loved it! I only wish I didn't live so far away, because I would be there all the time. I love supporting local businesses, especially businesses owned by minorities. Thinking Girls Boutique is owned by fab Latina, Alicia Arajuo-Elatassi.  I met her for the first time the night of the event as well! During the event Lisa took photos with guests, signed books, and gave a demonstration on how to create the jeweled napkin rings! Check out all of my pictures below:

Lisa graciously signing my copy of her book! I can't wait to use these for the next dinner party I host!
