Breaking news: According to Kim Kardashian's instagram page, Kanye wanted the Kardashian/Jenner clan to arrive at his runway show in style. Flying to Paris a week before his 3rd Yeezy runway, Kaney worked with Olivier Rousteing to create an exclusive Balmain x Yeezy collection. Olivier was able to complete the looks in 5 days. I actually really love the looks. They kind of remind of 1920s/Gatsby looks, but with a lot more sex appeal! I'm also feeling Kim's blonde hair! What do you guys think of the Balmain x Yeezy looks? I think they definitely steal the show from his actual collection! Yeezy Season 3 show also double as the debut of his new album, "The Life of Pablo." And once again, Kim sat right next to Anna Wintour during the show!

Yesterday marked the first official day of New York Fashion Week, Women's Collections Fall/Winter 2016. Since CFDA has bcome more involved with New York Fashion Week, there have been some significant changes to New York Fashion Week. The venue locations are smaller and more intimate, and there's one blanket umbrella name for New York Fashion Week, and that's New York Fashion Week (Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week no longer exists). To follow the shows you can head to or download the mobile app on your phone!

Nowadays it seems that everyone has a collection with Target! A week or so ago, I attended a pop-up Soulcycle class in Houston to celebrate the launch of the Soulcycle X Target collection, and last week, Who What Wear's collection debuted! The collection was available for purchase February 2nd. You can purchase the clothes online and in Target stores. For the Soulcycle collection you can catch some of the items at different pop-up shops around the country, or shop online at You can fine a pop-up shop near you via the link as well.

What are my thoughts on all of these collaborations with Target? Well as many of you know, I was severely let-down with the first collaboration that Target ever did with Missoni. I was so excited to own a high-end designer at a normal salary budget price, and I didn't get one thing? WHY? Because the online stores crashed, and people bought things off the shelf to re-sell at extorted prices on ebay. I was disillusioned. However, I still like the collaborations, but I don't go crazy over them. If I casually walk into the store and there are some things left, I'll peruse, and more than likely I find one or two items I like, and that works. And waiting a week is usually good because people tend to return stuff that they grabbed at the wrong size. So overall, I like the merchandise, don't enjoy the hype.

February, in addition to being Black History Month, is also Go Red for Women (GRFW) month. GRFW is the American Heart Association's movement to bring awareness to heart disease in women. Macy's is the founding national sponsor of the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Campaign and since 2004 they have raised over $55 million dollars to support the fight against heart disease. To further raise support for the cause, Macy's is selling limited edition red dresses from Thalia Sodi, Kensie, and Calvin Klein. 10% of these purchases will go back to the GRFW campaign.

One of the best ways to increase heart health is to be ACTIVE and Macy's has the answer to that calling as well, with an exclusive activewear collection with Ideology. Macy's was nice enough to send me one of the Ideology tanks to try out, and I loved it! I definitely plan to head to Macy's this month to pick up some more workout items! Nothing like looking cute when working out!

Check me out wearing this cute workout tank. I wore this to work out with my Personal Trainer.
Beyond selling merchandise, Macy's is hosting events around the county this month, including their annual Red-Dress Collection Runway show that kicks off New York Fashion Week every year. For more information on how Macy's is giving back to GRFW, click here:

Local Boutique Owner, Carrie Ann Saunders will be celebrating another year at Shop Carrie Ann located at Uptown Park! Come out and celebrate with Carrie Ann, her team, and celebrity guest, Chef Roble on February 26th!

My pick of the week is this fabulous Ideology tank top! It's perfect to workout in and trendy enough to style for a day at the office! You can find this and other tanks, here!

I love this look by Digital Marketing and PR Guru Nazira Sacasa. Nazira is in inspiration to me, as she's a curvy girl with fabulous style. Check out her IG feed for tons of outfit inspiration!
