Well, 2015 was a very interesting year for myself and my blog! I didn't do quite as many outfit posts as I have in the past, and I had a few gaps in posting due to both my camera and laptop breaking for several months. But you get through these inconveniences the best you can! Getting through for me, involved using my super slow desktop to get up my blog posts, and buying a brand new camera! This year, I interviewed more fashion industry professionals; Jenny Packham, Nigel Barker, Lela Rose, Kathy Bracewell, & Joan Martin and I celebrated my blog turning 5! I hosted several events around town, in which I was able to meet some of my followers in person, and networked with new friends.

I definitely had some sad  moments this year, with the loss of my cat, Marble. If you follow me on Instagram, you know how much of a catlady I am, and how much I loved my baby girl, but she passed away of stomach cancer at the beginning of November.   She was only 11.5, so it hit me hard because most of my cats have lived to 14/15 years of age, so it was very unexpected.  I also lost my childhood cat Toby, in February this year who was 14. My family is crazy about our furbabies, so their passings really hit hard. I also made the bittersweet decision to close Houston Fashion Bloggers. I also learned a lot about friendships. You'd think, at 31, that I would know all I need to know about friendships and relationships in general, but I realized that people will never cease to amaze me with their unfavorable actions...and you never stop learning.

But, overall 2015 was a very good year! I made progress with my personal training appointments, started attending a weekly bible study, received a new cat from my boss as a Secret Santa present, and I was able to save my vacation time to spend an extended amount of time at home with my family over the holidays!! How was your 2015? I hope it was great! I'm looking forward to see what 2016 has in store for me!
