SPONSORED POST: Mini Cooper Motoring Challenge - RSVP ASAP

Saturday, May 16, 2015

This isn't the first time that I've blogged about car events on Live Life in Style and it won't be the last! I love cars, and what do I love more than cars? Driving them! I've participated in Lincoln, Ford, and Porsche test drives, but this will be my first MINI Cooper Ride & Drive. That's right! The MINI Motoring Challenge is touring the country and stops in Houston May 29-31st at NRG Park.  You'll be able to test drive their new 2 & 4-door hardtops on a closed-course, autocross track. This Ride & Drive event differs from others because it takes place at night on a lit course! In addition to you being a "night-rider" there will also be food trucks, silent disco, personal style assessment by The Bumbys and live screen-printing to make custom t-shirts (Loving these cool fashion elements! MINI has thought of everything!)

Check out this video from last year's MINI Motoring Challenge Tour!

There will be a total of 3 autocross tracks that simulate a getaway drive, a pinball machine, and a famous British racetrack. There are NO speed limits (ok, I'm a little scared...ha! I have a lead foot) on this closed course! MINI has always been known for its legendary handling, but now the cars boast BMW Group turbo engines that make them faster and meaner than ever. The event is FREE to the public but there are a limited number of spots available! Don't miss out! Head over to www.minimotoringchallenge.com to RSVP!

MINI is also one of the most customizable cars you can buy. Their website has a cool configurator where you can build out your dream car. Check it out sometime.

This is a sponsored blog post; while the views expressed here were genuinely mine, consideration was paid to me by MINI Motoring Challenge to promote this event.
