WHAT I WORE: Cold Front Days
Monday, January 06, 2014
I try my hardest to take advantage of Houston weather when it's in cold-front mode. We don't get too many days in which we can wear boots, scarves, long-sleeves, and hats. Now our definitely of cold is probably way different than those of you who live in climates that experience a real Fall & Winter, but around here 65-75 can be "cold"! Haha, this particular day I had some errands to run, and wanted to be comfy, but chic. I gravitated to my favorite bottom lace-insert maxi from Forever 21 to handle the task, and of course had to wear some boots, just because I could! I added this fun jewelry scarf to the look!
Dress: Forever 21
Scarf: Burlington Coat Factory
Boots: Bakers
Headband: Henri Bendel
Watch: Michael Kors
Sunglasses: Michael Kors
OUTFIT DETAILS
I've never seen anything more perfect than the hair SECTION at Henri Bendel. It was so overwhelming that I didn't know what to with myself! This is just one of the many hair accessories I purchased that day shopping at Henri Bendel 5th Ave during New York Fashion Week.

I love the peek-a-boo lace inserts on the bottom of this dress! Allows you to show leg and cute shoes! |
I've had these boots for years! They are suede, and one of my favorite pairs ever! I love the double buckles on the side, and they really are comfortable! |
Boots from the front. I like this toe shape, not round, and not pointy...it's in between! |

Thanks LV! I loved the cutouts at the bottom, it takes it up a notch from the typical Maxi Dress!
DeleteLove the dress and scarf. Also you should rock your natural hair more often. It is gorgeous. Great look!
ReplyDeleteThanks Berty! A lot of people like me with my natural hair! I just have to get better at styling it! lol
