EVENT RECAP: Dress for Dinner with Giuseppe Zanotti

Sunday, October 20, 2013

Another season of Dress 4 Dinner has started!!  Dress for Dinner is a charity series put on by the Recipe For Success Foundation to help raise money for their mission in combating childhood obesity. The Dress 4 Dinner Series allows patrons to buy a ticket to mingle at their favorite retailers and view collections from talented designers, with the designers sometimes appearing in person. Each season Recipe for Success chooses 2 new co-chairs to run that season's Dress for Dinner campaign. This year's chairs are Leisa Holland-Nelson and Laura Max Nelson.

Their first event was with luxury shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti.  As you can see from the above picture, that Giuseppe has a great personality! I loved listening to him answer questions in his Italian accent! Did you know that he was a Radio DJ before getting into Fashion? Some of his best clients are Beyonce, Kanye West, and Yolanda Adams who was in attendance in the audience during the event. Giuseppe and his son Riccardo were both in Houston for the first time, and it was awesome that we were there to hang out with them!
