THE EVENT: W.O.W 10th Anniversary Soiree with Nicole Miller

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

One of my favorite organizations to support in Houston is Women of Wardrobe (WOW). Loyal readers of my blog, have seen that I've attended many events put on by WOW and their parent organization Dress for Success Houston.  WOW's goal is to support Dress for Success Houston.  The membership fee that is paid goes to buying a new suit for Dress for Success Houston and active members agree to donate 3 hours of their time to volunteering.  Then in turn the mission for Dress for Success Houston is to  promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

A few weeks ago, WOW celebrated their 10th year in existence with a fabulous soiree at Tootsies. The event featured top American Fashion Designer Nicole Miller, Jewelry Designer Claudia LoBao and Accessories designer Annsley Popov.  All three of them sell their collections in Tootsies. It was great to catch up with them at the event as they mingled with their customers. Please enjoy these photos from the event!
