THE EVENT: Cheeky Vintage Blogger Party

Friday, August 30, 2013

A few weeks ago a select handful of Houston Bloggers were invited to a Blogger Party at Cheeky Vintage.  I've been hearing a lot of buzz about the store and I was happy to attend and check it out for myself.  Megan of Greetings from Texas works with Cheeky Vintage and she helped them put the blogger event together. From the get go I really liked the store, because it's a house converted to a shop! They recently expanded and took over all the rooms of the house, with unique themes in each room.  I love the set up of the house and it makes you think that you are shopping in someone's closet. I met some new bloggers and and said hello to old friends!  They had a challenge for the bloggers to dress up with the items at cheeky vintage and instagram our picture for a chance to win a prize of being on the Cheeky Vintage blog.

Roxy of Grr Feisty. We started following each other on Instagram after the Texas Style Council, but this is the first time meeting her in person
Yummy treats for us bloggers! I killed a red velvet cupcake right away!

I loved these two necklaces and decided to pair them together for a statement necklace.
Look how cute these handbags and hats are!
This was my second challenge for the #CheekyVintage challenge. I utilized their accessories for my entries.
