Hi Keren! I’m so excited to feature you on Fan Feature Friday. We’ve known each other for awhile now via the Fashion Blogosphere! First, tell us how you came up with the name of your blog and how long you’ve been blogging? I started my personal style blog to celebrate my love of fashion, thrift shopping and inspiring women to look stylish all the time. The name Two Stylish Kays describes the fun I have mixing trendy fashion with classic style and retail brands at resale prices.

What’s your favorite type of music? Reggae, Soca and R&B

If people read your blog, they will definitely find out that you love thrifting. Can you tell us why you love finding thrifty finds, versus hitting the malls? (1) It’s the thrill of the hunt. There are bragging rights when finding that perfect piece and saving a lot of money too. (2) It forces me to be creative. I can create a variety of retail looks on a resale budget.(3) It's doing a good deed. Most thrift stores are run by non-profit organizations that raise money for people in need.

How would you describe your personal style?
My dominant style is classic. I enjoy having longstanding staples that I can wear year round and look effortless. But I do enjoy mixing in a few trendy pieces to give my outfit an unexpected element to make me stand out.

What’s the best thing you love about blogging?
Overall blogging has offered me so many opportunities to meet like-minded women who are passionate about fashion. I love reading comments from my readers and I feel honored when they say that I have inspired them to try a new style.

What do you like to do in your free time? Spending time with my family and traveling.
Tell us about Swapnista, and your goals to expand it beyond Atlanta . Since 2008, Swapnista has been Atlanta’s premiere Fashion Swap event. It is a chic, savvy way for women to network, swap fashion, shop and get pampered, all while supporting a local charity. This year we are taking Swapnista on the road and bringing it to cities like Shreveport, New Orleans, Little Rock, Dallas & Houston.

How are you connecting with local bloggers in Atlanta? Through the Fashionable Atlanta group and through various networking events. (Fashionable Atlanta Meetup, etc.)

How and when did you decide to start your So Stylish Spotlight? What type of items do you sell in your store? My partner and I own the Fashion Style Studio in Buckhead. It’s a private, appointment only boutique where our clients can shop and get styled by us. We sell and rent special occasion dresses. And of course designer vintage pieces.

Where are the great places to shop in Atlanta? I shop at the thrift stores at least once a week. I visit the ones in the North Atlanta area.
What tips would you give to someone who wanted to start a Fashion blog, or any blog for that matter? Make sure that you blog about a topic that you are knowledgeable and passionate about. Because blogging takes tons of dedication and commitment.
