Christmas Looks

The Casual Christmas Party
Some of you may be wondering how this could be an option for Christmas in the Winter? Well I picked this dress for those of us closer to the Southern Hemisphere, because for us our Christmas's may very well see temperatures between 65 & 75 degrees! But this look is versatile and can work in any temperament.  Pair this belted, sleeveless, A-line dress with tights, boots or booties and a festive long sleeve top, and you have a great look for colder weather!

I love the bottom of this A-Line dress, it actually bustles up at the bottom like that of a wedding dress! There are straps underneath that tie the two pieces of fabrics together that give it this layered affect.  Christina picked the accessories for this look, and I think they are the perfect touches to this all black ensemble.

The Family Christmas Function
Going to a family function for Christmas? Try this look.  Christina picked out the dress and jacket, and I picked out the necklace.  This is a great family look! Still chic, but conservative enough for meeting the inlaws! :-)

Christmas - The Military Edition
And why not sport the ever popular Military Trend? I'm a big fan of wearing fashion belts over outerwear...let's give the belted sash a little break, and opt for a fashion statement making belt. For this look, I picked out the dress and the belt, and Christina added the coat. I just love the high collar on the jacket.  And once you remove the jacket you have this fabulous green puff-sleeve dress! I would add the below center necklace to this look.

I would pair the middle necklace with this dress, and notice the zipper detail on the Collar!
Loved the ruched side detail of the belt!

The Horse Dress
I really love this horse dress. I've seen it at Langford Market and here at DuO (makes sense, since they are sister stores)! I'm a big fan of this dress silhouette, it's very flattering on lots of body shapes. It's sexy without being overtly sexy. The hemline is short so a lady gets to show off lots of leg, but the long sleeves balance out the skin heavy bottom. I would definitely pair this dress with this fabulous faux fur from the Moss Collection.  Another look that can be converted for winter wear with tights and boots, or even cinched at the waist with a belt and paired with leggings or skinny jeans!
