WHAT I WORE: Stiletto Stampede for the Cure TV Appearance

Fashionably Houston is the online sponsor for the charity group Stiletto Stampede for the CureStiletto Stampede was started In 2009. A group of volunteers, now the Stiletto Stampede nonprofit organization created the Stiletto Stampede for the Cure™. This exciting concept evolved into a high heel dash with a mission to encourage young women and men to know and understand the risks of breast cancer, and empower them to prevent the disease by utilizing overall Breast Self-Awareness through Early Detection, Screening Methods and Education. Melissa Dawson of Stiletto Stampede was invited to Great Day Houston to talk about the charity event.  As sponsors for the group, we were able to go to the live show taping in support of the cause.  So of course I wanted to wear pink, and this is what I came up with.

Of course my hair wasn't like this while I was at the taping.  I actually had it out, but later that same day I attended a Fashion Event, in which they had stylists doing complimentary braids, so I jumped on the chance to wrangle in this heat affected hair!    You can watch this clip from the TV show, in which I show up the most to see how my hair was actually style during the show. You can see me at the following times on this clip: 3:57, 4:03, 5:11 & 5:33
