Welcome to Fan Feature Friday!! Today I am featuring Cassie of Little Black Sheep Chic.  Hope you enjoy reading up and getting to know Cassie!

Name: Cassie Cassells
Age: 26
Occupation: Finance Consultant and a student currently studying Public Relations
Hometown: Sydney, Australia
Current Location: Sydney
Blog URL (if Blogger):

How did you come up with the title of your blog? It's very different from your url? Originally my blog name was Antz In Your Pants, but then I decided to change it, as I discovered another blog with the same name. I chose Little Black Sheep Chic, because I was always considered the Black Sheep of my family. Also, my fashion style was very different compared to others while I was growing up, which I like to still think it is.

What inspired you to start blogging? I always enjoyed reading fashion blogs, but found a few in which the blogger wasn't being true to themselves. They weren't keeping their own individuality. Also there aren't many blogs that are about fashion on a budget, so I decided to blog.

What kind of camera do you use to take your blog photos? Nikon D3100. My husband takes most of my pictures! He he he (Nice I have my friend the tripod to take my photos!)

How are things down under? Does this expression get on your nerves after awhile? Great! It is winter season now and the average temperature is 15 degrees Celsius, which is about 60.8 F? (That's still a great winter! Better than North America!). The expression never dies and never gets on my nerves.

Do you have any Fashion icons? At the moment I really like Ruby Rose, Kate Moss, and Alexa Chung. They have a rock style that suits them comfortably.

What are some of your favorite Fashion magazines and why? Shop Till You Drop. It is full of up-to-date fashion trends, designers, and also posts budget fashion buys.

Tell us some of your favorite Fashion Brands & Designers: I really like Sportsgirl, One Teaspoon, & Rachel Gilbert. Rachel Gilbert is a designer and has amazing evening gowns.

Since Australia is in the Winter season right now, what is your favorite winter trend? Anything lace and accessories, which always make a big statement in the Winter. (Seems like Lace is seasonless, as it's making a huge statement up here in the Summertime!)

Do you have a favorite band, or genre of music? Believe it or not, I'm actually a Rock/Metal Girl.  I enjoy listening to Metallica, Disturbed, & Thirty Second to Mars.

I enjoy your profile synopsis in which you state that you are still trying to figure out what you want to be when you grow up. Do you have any ideas yet? Not really. I always thought that I was going to be a Chef, but I just didn't have enough passion. I finished my apprenticeship as a Qualified Chef, and pretty much just took the first job offered to me.  In the near future, I wouldn't mind obtaining a job in Fashion doing marketing or public relations.

How does the fashion in Sydney compare to any other location you have lived or visited? I would personally say that Sydney's fashion style is more casual and individualistic compared to London, which I have been too. London is a bit more funky and out there!

Have you ever been to New Zealand? How far is it from Australia? No, I actually have never been there, and it only takes 3-5 hours by plane. My husband and I are considering going next year during winter. Apparently the snowboarding is really good. (I ask, because New Zealand has been the location of some of my favorite tv shows and movies: Xena, Warrior Princess &  Lord of the Rings!)

Tell us some of your favorite fashion blogs to read: Your fashion blog is awesome to read; you pull off some great styles! (Why, Thank you Cassie! I'm flattered!). I also enjoy reading Cupcakes and Cashmere, LLYMLRS, Tattoologist, and so many more!

What is your go-to accessory that you own? My leopard print handbag that I use for work. It only cost me $55.00 from the markets and fits so much stuff! It is a great accessory with just black jeans and a white top!

Would you like to add anything else for my readers? I'm in the process of putting together a monthly market mayhem feature if any blogger or reader is interested (C'mon Shasie!) in participating on my blog. Please email me at Thank you very much for this opportunity to be interviewed, and for your readers taking the time to get to know and read about me.

You are very welcome Cassie!! My pleasure! My readers really love Fan Feature Friday, and I love introducing them to new blogs! I will definitely participate in your market mayhem!!
