The Compassion Fashion Project

I first heard of this Fashion Blog (which is way more than just a blog, which you'll find out as you continue reading) via the Independent Fashion Bloggers. One day I received this sweet message from a girl named Meredith in my in box.

Hi Shasie,
I'm Meredith with The Compassion Fashion Project and would love for you to have a look at what we are doing:
We are a grass roots project merging fashion and philanthropy with a focus on domestic violence issues. We highlight companies, designers, individuals, and organizations who are making a positive impact in the world and are bringing peace about slowly, but surely through their efforts.

Now I'm all for charities, so I was eager to click over and check out their site, and was truly blown away with the great stuff they've been doing...I mean what AREN'T they doing for their cause. They have highlighted charities and functions in other cities, they are currently working on their own event called Divas Dresses Darlings to benefit the charity Little Dresses for Africa. They find artistic bloggers, illustrators, artists photographers, musicians, etc to loan their skills and support them. A lot of them designed the pieces I'm displaying below. Seriously guys, as lovers of fashion and I'm assuming shopaholics we spend our money all the time on clothes. Won't you spend your money this time for a good cause?  And unlike the high-end fashion houses that support charities with items we still can't afford, the prices of these pieces are very reasonable, not only that, they are VERY STYLISH. I may end up with every item! hahaha

I did not bring over all the items they are offering, but you can buy them and see more at their online shop

Like I said, these are just a few of my fav items from the store, but there are so many great products, and I know you'll find one that you'll love and want to purchase. Also if you are not already following The Compassion Fashion Project Blog, please join their site today!
