Wow...Today I had two happy hours back to back. One was at Lupe Tortilla for my co-worker that is moving on to a new position and the second one was hosted by my apartment complex at Lorenzo's Grill in the Heights. For the happy hours, I went with a menswear inspired look. I decided to leave the shirt un-tucked because it was a short shirt and I did not want the tucked/becoming un-tucked drama all day. The pants are a dark gray, while the vest is a lighter gray, which ends the monotone vest-pant look and makes a cute gradient outfit.

Main Ensemble including Necklace: NY&CO // Shoes: Target
Jacket: Steve Madden (Macy's) // Purse: Victoria Secret
My friend Liz, joined me for Happy Hour at Lorenzo's. She's so stylish with her burberry scarf and leather jacket! Cute earrings too!

On the way out, we passed by my future car, an Aston Martin, so I had to take a picture

The food was amazing at Lorenzo's! Way better than the food I had at Lupe Tortilla an hour before! However, I may be a little biased because I don't really care for Tex-Mex cuisine.

What do you think of my menswear inspired look. Have you ever wore a piece of clothing that was inspired by men's clothing? How did you style it?
