WHAT I WORE: CINCO DE MAYO 2018

Wednesday, May 09, 2018

Last year I posted about the true meaning of Cinco de Mayo! Do you remember the meaning? If not, check out my post on the Holiday for a refresher! This year I celebrated Cinco de Mayo with my new neighbors at my apartment complex. One of the many reasons I wanted to move into an apartment in the city was to have access to fun activities nearby. It's an added bonus that my apartment ALSO host cool activities. I've managed to miss a lot of them since moving in, but I made it to their Cinco de Mayo party.  Other events they have hosted include Martini Monday, Pub Crawls, and participating in downtown parades!

The party was held on our 8th floor pool deck.  The views from our 8th floor are stunning and you'll probably see photos from this level a lot on my upcoming blog posts because it's a great location to take photos! The complex brought in frozen margarities, food from a local Mexican Restaurants, Hello Fresh vendors, and the marketing team for the Houston Dynamo and Dash.
