MY EASTER DECOR

Saturday, April 15, 2017

Easter is tomorrow!! How are you guys celebrating the resurrection of our Lord? Easter egg hunts, baskets, wearing your Sunday best to church? As for me? I plan on attending church and coming home and making a little dinner for myself! I don't have any family here so sometimes the holidays are a little lame for me. One of the things that I like to do to feel like my family is around is decorate my living space. Growing up, my Mom always decorated the house for holidays. This year in particular I've picked up her holiday decorating bug! I live in a fairly large one bedroom apartment, so there are tons of spaces to decorate for the holidays. Check out how I transformed my apartment into an Easter wonderland.

When it comes to decorations around the house, I don't spend a lot. I shop in the same places for decorations: Target, Hobby Lobby, Party City and the Dollar Store. Every now and then I'll see something that I love during a random Wal-Mart trip, but for the most part I use the aforementioned 4 stores. Holiday decorations are only for a small amount of time, so I've never felt inclined to spend $100s of dollars on them.

Take a good look at this marble dining room table. This may be the last time you see it! I plan on selling it before I move, because I never use it to eat on, and I want more space in my future apartment.

My parents sent this bunny to me for my birthday as an early Easter gift!

How do you and your family decorate for Easter?

  1. I loved your Eater decor. The colors were perfect for Spring. That marble table is a great piece, too bad you do not use it more often. Hopefully you will find another great home for it when you are ready to dispose of it.

  7. I am loving your Easter decor. You are so great at decorating. I am loving how you paired all this together too. You would be so great at decorating for holiday parties and weddings. You should look more into that.
