OPENING NIGHT: Heart of Fashion - The SceneWednesday, November 25, 2015
On November 18th, Heart of Fashion, Houston's newest fashion week, debuted to a sold out crowd. Heart of Fashion was held at 'Million Air' Air Terminal, a place where chartered and privately owned jets can fly in and out. The location was definitely unique for a fashion show! Vivian and her team transformed one of the hangers into posh party central. From the valet station, there was a big pink carpet that let up to check-in. Two gals in pink and black flight attendant outfits were at the end of the carpet ushering guests to different stations. Just beyond registration was the step and repeat area. Guests were able to pose for photos from the event photographers and have the chance to be interviewed by Jaymes Vaughn, Host & Correspondent for OK! TV. The outside party space opened up at 7 pm. From 7 pm to 8:30 pm, guests could enjoy cocktails & lite bites, dance to tunes spun by the DJ, and mingle with friends in chic sitting areas. I of course walked around snapping lots of photos of the scene and some familiar faces. I ran into a bunch of friends at Heart of Fashion. It's always fun to run into people that you don't see all the time. Displayed around the party area were hashtags for the event; #ForArtForGood and #PartyWithAPurpose. Be sure to look for these tags on social media to check out snaps from the event. Also search #HOF and #HeartofFashion! Check out my "on the scene" photos below! Runway photos coming soon!
