WHAT I WORE: Golf Day At WorkSunday, July 19, 2015
My boss at work is really cool. She comes up with these fun ways to do team bonding activities. Her latest idea is doing a game hour over lunch once a month. Each month a different team comes up with a game, and July just so happened to be her month. For her and her partner's game they picked a putting competition in which we needed to bring in our putters -----halt. Ok...so yea...I've never actually golfed in my life. Sure I've played on the occasional putt-putt golf. I've even made my way to a driving range (see Top Golf post), but actually golf...as in on a legit course...nope. So I definitely do not own a set of golf clubs, no less a putter, but luckily enough people in our group golf that there were tons of putters for everyone. In addition to the putting part of the game, there was also a best-dressed contest. We were encouraged to come in our best golf attire...again...since I don't golf, I winged it by googling golf outfits and seeing how I could make something work for me based off of the clothes I already had.
I really liked this look with the baggy pants and socks, but I don't own a pair of pants that baggy to tuck them into my socks, so I opted for bright pants that I rolled up to expose my socks, and I used to have an argyle pull over, but it no longer fits, so I went with the next best thing for a pull over vest, and added a white button down and beret. How did I do?
