EVENT RECAP: Tidbits "Rodeo Ready" Party at Lucchese

Monday, March 30, 2015

Why is the Houston Rodeo over and when is it coming back? I don't think 20 days of the rodeo is enough and I'm sure the owners of Lucchese would agreed! Lucchese, since 1883, has specialized in boots, particularily cowboy boots. They also sell other western wear items from fringe handbags to belts.  Lucchese recently opened a new store in Houston's Highland Village area. It's with in walking distance to other stores To celebrate their opening and the rodeo coming to town, Lucchese partnered with Houston Tidbits, to host a private part for Tidbits' Front Row members called "Rodeo Ready". Guests received goody bags which included a $100 gift certificate for their store (pretty good during rodeo season!) and were treated to light bites, champagne and cupcakes from Ooh La La Sweets Dessert Boutique.

Guests snapped selfies and took pictures of the new store while trying on boots and apparel. During the event, Tidbits, hosted an Instagram contest which gave guests the chance to win free tickets to the Houston Rodeo. I was very impressed with the collection of vintage boots they had on display. They had boots that represented each of the 50 states.  The sales associate informed me that there was only one boot made for each state, so they are very exclusive boots, and Lucchese doesn't have all of them!  Overall, the event was great and it was fun looking at all the beautiful western wear they have available.

These were my absolute favorites. The gold tip was a great detail.

Who said western woman can't be fashionable? Who ever said that has never been to a Lucchese store.

Lucchese sells more than just boots. They also sell apparel

The men's section was more than amazing. They have so many different boots and clothing pieces that would go great together.

The store was very nice. Everything was organized in such a way that made it easy to shop.

The cupcakes from Oh La La won me over.
Around the store there were mannequins styled to show how to put several of their product offerings together.
Everyone enjoyed the event!

Can you believe there is only one boot for each state. These are definitely collector items.
