MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK: Michael Costello Couture Spring 2015 From 2nd Row!

For the Michael Costello show at New York Fashion Week, I was seated front row, one seat over from Miss USA, Nia Sanchez. I have to admit this is the closets I've gotten to frow (with an actual invitation and not filling in seats) ever! I was super excited! Beside me was my colleage & intern Sofia Villareal and on the other side of Sofia was Miss USA.  Michael Costello's show was held in the Pavilion tent of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, a space that was modified to further improve the designer and guests' experience at MBFW. I really like the Pavilion set-up for runway shows and it was probably my favorite tent experience out of all 4 locations (The Hub, Salon and Theatre).  However, because I was seated I was unable to get my from the front or angle of front shots, so this collection is from the back! Teehee, everyone loves a great walk away moment, so here's several!
It's very clear that Michael Costello has a favored silhouette and that's the mermaid! 99% of this collection featured mermaid cut dresses in multiple fabrics and prints.
The crowns were a nice touch, elevating the collection with royal flair.
