WHAT I WORE: DAVID PECK - ATTICUS DRESSMonday, June 23, 2014
There's something to be said for clothes that are made to fit your shape...it's amazing! I've been in love with David Peck's designs for years, but because I'm plus-size I couldn't fit into the shelf sizes. However, I spoke to the team at DP and discovered that they tailor their clothes for many people and I knew that one day I would go in and have them "enlarge" a dress for me! After David Peck's Fall 2013 presentation I knew which dress I wanted, the Atticus. Yes I know I saw this dress back in the Fall, but it wasn't until this Spring that I made the pounce! I set up an appointment at David Peck's Studio for measurements and ordered my dress! For it's debut I wore the dress to the Hanh Tran Art Gallery Opening. The Friday before that event, I randomly purchased this on sale, green Kendra Scott necklace and thought, "Whoa! These two are meant for each other!" And so they were! I also decided to bust out my BCBGMaxAzria wings. They've been shelved for awhile and were getting restless!
