THE EVENT: FGI-Houston Fall Trends 2013 at Dao Chloe Dao

Friday, August 09, 2013

If you've been reading my blog for awhile, you already know how much I love the group FGI-Houston. Not only is it an amazing organization for you to join if you are serious about your career in the Fashion Industry, but all of the members are super nice and great people to know! Last week they held their Fall Trends 2013 Event at Dao Chloe Dao in Houston's Rice Village.   Andrea Bonner, the Regional Director for FGI-Houston kicked off the event with introductions. In attendance was a representative for The Women's Home to discuss their upcoming Re-New & Re-Dux Fashion Show on August 21st at Houston's Wortham Center. Proceeds of the event go to The Women's Home who's mission is  to help women who have struggled with addiction & mental illness to live complete and whole lives.  I will be in attendance at this Fashion Show on August 21st! You can purchase tickets HERE.  In addition to learning all about The Women's Home and FGI-Houston, guests were privy to Fashion Group International's Headquarter (New York) video about the trends for the Fall.  We were also invited to shop and received a 15% off discount on all items in the store including already marked-down sale items! Win-Win! I definitely left with a new top, handbag, and jewelry....When in Rome....Enjoy these photos from the event!
