GLAMSHOP SIP & SHOP

Sunday, May 06, 2012

After stopping by the Monica Haff Trunk Show (see last blog post), Imani and I headed to Glam Shop Sip & Shop's event at one of my favorite venues in Houston; Bella Epique. Located in the Museum District, this is another house turned venue locale that I just adore! The weather was perfect, and all of the vendors were outside with their booths.  I basically perused the scene taking in everything I could.  While browsing, shoppers enjoyed complimentary cocktails, and desserts from Cheesecake A La Mode.

Ladies were super nice, but I have to admit it will take some getting used to to the name of their makeup line...

I really, REALLY loved the Scentsy table. I'm all about home fragrances and the concept behind this waxxy, super-saturated smelly scents intrigued me! They last for a very long time too. You just put a little bit of the wax in whatever flavor you prefer in the little heat lamps and instant fragrance! It's cool to the touch too so if you have pets and kids they won't get burned if they brush against it

Of course I had to stop by one of my favorite brands in Houston: Mod Chic. This dress has a history to me! I first saw the red version of it at CultureMap Fashion on Sale in January and I wanted it so badly for my birthday part in February, but they hadn't come out yet, it as just a sample I saw.  This dress sold really well for Modchic and this is one of the few ones left!

These handbags are unique because you basically buy the "shell" and you can change out the covers on them, so essentially one bag can be as many different bags as you ant it to be! They had different sizes, but I most favored this structured, boxy style! I'm thinking this will be a future addition to my handbag arsenal very soon!

The Owner of GlamShop Girls, Azalea McKinney is seriously like a triple threat when it comes to business. She owns glam shop, but also owns High Heel Junkie - a company devoted to selling you the sexiest, most unique, sophisticated, haute high heels around the globe.  And yes the shoes at High Heel Junkie are super chic, but they sell more than shoes!
Introducing the Heel Panty. This yellow decoration is a fantastic way to snazz up an otherwise regular pump to something phenomenal.
Introducting this Heel Cover.  I love these little things! These ones go up the entire heel and slip over the shoe.  And when I tell you that this girl has variety in these, I mean it! Find more here.

How fab are these hardware shoes? Love them!
These lovely ladies let me take their photo. I love the animal print with the hot pink shows, and  loving the Peter Pan collar and Anne of Avonlea sleeves.
I will be launching a High Heel Junkie Giveaway Soon!
Stay Tuned!

  1. I just tried to send a comment and couldn't. This is my second attempt. I stated that these are great pics. I especially liked the shoes and had a dream last night that I was actually wearing a pair of shoes with a heel that high and they were really comfortable. Maybe this is a premonition, huh? Hopefully you get the post this time.
