EASTER SUNDAY

Only a week late, but you know how that goes! This is what I wore for Easter this past Sunday.  I love everything about this dress from New York & Company. The bright colors, the figure-flattering empire-waist, the mix print, the pattern....I mean should I go on? Hahaha.  With a dress like this you have mmmmmaaannnnyyyyy options for shoes, but since the dress does have a lot going on, I wanted to pair them with a solid color shoe.

ENSEMBLE
Dress: New York & Company
Necklace: New York & Company
Peep-toe Pumps: Jessica Simpson
Headband: Jessica Simpson

I really love being a member of a church, and I'm really loving being a member of Wheeler! The main reason is because I love our Pastor! Pastor Marcus D. Cosby.  I remember while I was growing up that sometimes I would fall asleep in sermons and not really pay that much attention...hey, just being honest! But my favorite part of going to church is hearing the sermon. I look forward to how Pastor Cosby is going to interpret the word, and Sunday was no different. Never, or at least to my recollection, has any Pastor interpretted the story of the resurrection to our everyday struggles.  For instance Mary & Mary on their way to the tomb wondering how they were going to move the boulder that was blocking their path to the body of Jesus, but when they got there the stone was already moved! Basically, while we're worrying and wondering about our struggles GOD already has it solved for us, etc. and I just really enjoyed the sermon! If you are ever in Houston, stop by Wheeler!

What did you wear on Resurrection Sunday?

  8. That is such a pretty dress you have on, you look great. Actually I wore all black because it was my day to work in helps ministry in computer production at my church ( computer ministry). I am behind the scenes so it's our dress attire to wear black.
