**Contest Alert**
Houstonians! Stop by DuO Houston, mention my blog and be entered to win a gift certificate to DuO! Open until February 29th!

What does the average college student think when they wake up to get dressed for class? If you're anything like me, you want to be comfy, but still fashionable. But how do you do that when you just pulled an all-niter, slept through your alarm, and have to run halfway across campus to your first class? Or how do you do this on a limited college budget? Or what if you want to be more fashionable, but have no clue how to do it? Or maybe you aren't a student, but are looking for outfit inspirations? If you've answered yes to any of these questions, or generally just enjoy great outfits, this post is for you!

The "Fashion Scholar"
From what I've seen, Fashion Students are always trying to make a statement.  Trying to be extra individual with their looks and come up with unique ways of wearing their closet goodies. This dress with the bandage skirt over it, is a perfect example of this! The dress is a day wear dress, but adding the blazer, skirt, belt, and chain-strap clutch, this dress just went a few "hot" notches!
Polka Dot Dress - $44.90 / Handbag - $44.90 / Blazer - $49.90

The "Slouchy Maiden"
This girl can't be restricted by "tight" clothing while sitting in class. The boho, loose-fitting garments are her go-to! Adding this braided belt keeps her shape, but she's still comfy!
Coral Top - $34.90

Short Leaf Necklace - $16.90 & Long Leaf Necklace $29.90

The "Scarf Maiden"
Dress - $39.90 / Scarf - $22.90

The "Pay Attention to Detail"
This girl loves detail, and won't leave the house without it! From the Aztec inspired print of the flyaway blazer to the zipper detail on the sheer-sleeve top.
Belt - $24.00

Navajo Flyaway Cardigan $59.90 & Skinny Jeans - $49.90

Black Zipper Sheer Top - $34.90

The "Wake-Up & Go"
So you think this is a shirt and a skirt? Think again! It's another skirt over dress combination.  Perfect for the day you didn't "hear" your alarm clock and are running late for class. If you have a few more seconds to spare grab a scarf to enhance your look!
Floral Dress - $49.90 / Asymmetrical Skirt - $34.90 / Scarf - $22.90

The "All-In-One"
Dressing can't get any easier than a full-body jumpsuit.  This color is transitional and will work in Spring and Fall.  I love the shade of the belt and the necklaces that enhance this sienna color.
Jumpsuit $59.90

The "Casual Chic"
Grey Army Shorts - $39.90 & Cardigan-$30.90

Well I hope you enjoyed these outfit inspirations, I know I did! So be sure to head over to DuO and shop these looks, and everything else amazing that they have in their store! While you're there, mention my blog and you'll be entered into a Gift Certificate Raffle!

  1. I've always wondered how I can wear a skirt over a dress without it looking awkward but these pics have put my mind to rest. I'll surely be trying it out soonest!!! :)

    1. I've done it twice before both because the dress that I love finally grew too short for me! So one I tucked the dress into a skirt, and the other time I wore the dress over the skirt! Definitely let me know if you try it!
