WHAT I WORE: Rent The Runway Houston Launch Party

Thursday, December 01, 2011

This will be post 1 of 2 on attending Rent The Runway's Houston Launch Party at Gift West Ave. If you haven't heard of the website Rent The Runway then I'm assuming you've been living under a rock for a very long time!! Their concept is perfect! Why spend tons of money on dresses and accessories that you might only wear once for one special occasion? After your purchase that dress just sits there and collects dust...waste of money right? Well waste money no more by signing up for RTR.  You can rent garments to wear for an evening for up to 4-8 days! Concerned about ordering the right size? They offer personal fit stylists and they also send an extra size with the size you ordered for FREE!! Can you really go wrong with this plan?

ENSEMBLE
Dress: Express
Skirt: Express
Tights: Hue
Peep-toe Booties: Payless
Ring: Giveaway Win from Cindy of Style of a Lifestyle
Watch: Michael Kors
Bracelet: Burlington

I've had this dress now for a few years, and it's one of my favorite winter dresses...but unfortunately it's now too short just to wear by itself.  So I had to add the skirt to bring the ensemble to a respectable length. I will still keep this dress and wear it as a tunic :-). And this is my first tights look of the F/W 2011 season.  We've been having sporadic cold fronts here in Houston so I have to take advantage of them when I can!

Come back to check out my full post on the launch party
