Thankful For

Tuesday, November 22, 2011

As cliche as it may sound around this time of year, stating what you are thankful for, I'm going to do it by participating in the Independent Fashion Bloggers' Project #22: What are you thankful for?

I'm Thankful For...

  • My ever-growing relationship with GOD
  • Finding a church home this year! Yay!
  • My Family - This year has been so rough with losses and traumatizing experiences, and I don't know where I would be if it weren't for my family.  We are stronger than ever!
  • My new family members - Ed Pugh and his family, who officially became my family on October 1st with his marriage to my sister and reconnecting with my Uncle
  • My friends - I am blessed to have great friends all over the place, so even when I'm not with my family, I still feel loved, and never alone
  • My job - in this current economic climate where everyone is complaining about the lack of jobs, or high unemployment rates, I am thankful for mine
  • My Apartment - Though slightly overpriced, I am able to afford this roof over my head
  • My Relatively Good Health - Even though I have a few medical ailments, none of them cannot be turned around, and I'm still able to work out and enjoy life
  • My good genes
  • My ability to give back to those less fortunate
  • My innate fashion sense and the ability to style outfits
  • Everything in my closet
  • Friends that I can spend Thanksgiving with when I'm far away from home
  • The ability to shop
  • Nivea Chapstick

  • And last but not least my blog, and all of my followers. Of course I wouldn't forget you, and that's why I'm currently hosting my Thanksgiving Giveaway right now to say Thanks to all of you! Make sure you enter today to win this Shabby Apple Skirt by November 30th.

  3. That is a wonderful post!! I'm so proud of the young woman that you have become and I'm so thankful to have a loving and caring daughter. This year has been horrendous and many moments bittersweet but through it all, we have been there to carry each other through with God's grace and strength. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and looking forward to seeing you soon.
