A Holiday Shopping Wonderland

Thursday, November 17, 2011

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of enjoying yet another fabulous Houston tradition - The Nutcracker Market.  Now I know you are all thinking, what the heck is a Nutcracker Market? Well I'll tell ya. It's a Christmas Shopping Wonderland, that has been going on for YEARS here in Houston.  The event benefits The Houston Ballet's academy and scholarship programs.

Top: Target
Jeans: Old Navy
Belt: New York & Company
Boots: Cavender's Boot City
I absolutely love this top that I snagged at Target. It has a great pattern, it's sheer, it's slouchy! What more can a woman ask for!?

Imagine walking into a huge convention-sized space and seeing nothing but christmas decorations and rows upon rows of vendors selling everything from gourmet foods, to home decor, to jewelry, to clothes, to makeup...I literally could go on and on and on, but instead I'll show you pictures!
Walking into the Nutcracker Market!

There were so many food samples, I didn't have to buy lunch! I did buy a bag of this Copper Kettle Caramel Corn with Pecans & Cashews! It was amazing! Most order more!
Cutest mittens ever! They reminded me of Lampchop from Lampchop's Play-A-Long

I absolutely LOVED these wreaths!

How great are these for kiddies?? I wish I was 5 again!

First off great outfit girly. And OMG what a great event and now must look for something like it here in my area. My ultimate favorite season is Xmas and anything related to it is just FAB. I love feeling warm and cozy inside (sigh) Great photos.

  14. Thanks girlie! Me too, Christmas is my favorite time of year! I just love it!!!!!! Me too, I struggle experiencing the same thing here in Houston though because I'm used to white Christmases and it's odd that it's still so warm here!
