Everyday Outfits. I first "virtually" (ha-ha) met Joey via Independent Fashion Bloggers. She was one of the first 3 bloggers that I really started to network with off of that site, and ever since I have been such a fan of her blog!! She is such a real down to earth girl, and her looks are so unique.

What's the best thing you like about being a fashion blogger? Getting to meet so many like-minded people from all over the world. I adore the interaction and I like how the fashion bloggers community is growing ever day. I love it that there are so many fashion lovers from all over the world.
What are your goals for your blog? Blogging is very much a hobby for me so I don't really have any aims or goals for it, to be honest. I guess mini achievements for me would be to gain new readers and to encourage comments and interaction.
You say you are not a fashionista, but I beg to differ! You have great style and great looks! Where did your love of fashion spur from? Ha-ha, thank you. I can't really pinpoint an exact moment as I think my style just evolves (and is still evolving) over the years. I guess looking at all those fashionable people on Lookbook and flipping through Japanese magazines kind of made me really get into it.
How would you describe your personal style? Ever-changing. I'm quite fickle and I can never stick to one style and just dress like that day in and day out. One day I may feel going granny chic and the next day I might just go rocker chick.
What is in your purse at this very minute!? Nothing interesting, to be honest. A book, a notepad, a pencil case, my wallet and a bunch of crumpled up receipts at the bottom.
Tell us one of your favorite accessories? Rings. I'm really going through a ring phase (which has been going on for months) and have a growing collection.
What was your favorite trend for S/S 2011? Lace. Be it an entire lacey dress or just bits of lace detailing. I think it's really pretty and very feminine.
Do any other fashion bloggers inspire your style? If so, which ones and why? Quite a lot do, actually. Rumi Neely from Fashiontoast and Vanessa Hong from The Haute Pursuit are always on the top of my list. Both have this way of looking sexy without looking like they put in a lot of effort. Oft times, they'll just wear a simple, oversized jumper with leggings and some heels and they look so good! One thing I noticed is that they like to accessorize, especially with rings!
You do a lot of reviews on your blog. Based on your reviews, tell us your personal faves when it comes to online shopping: Based only on the ones I've reviewed on my blog, I'd have to say Asia Fashion Wholesale. I am in no way affiliated or sponsored by the company, but I think they give the best value for your money. Their products are always a hit or miss and people should really be careful when purchasing from them. But after buying from them about 3 times, I think I roughly know what to get and what to avoid.
How does fashion where you live now compare to places you have lived or visited before? Fashion in the UK is so different from Malaysia. The UK has the 4 seasons which allows for different styles while Malaysia is a tropical country and is hot all year round which really doesn't leave you much choice. In the UK, people get to play with layering, wear different styles of coats, boots, etc. In Malaysia, there are definitely plenty of fashionistas, but their dressing will have to suit the climate.
Tell us a fashion tip that was pass onto you from someone older in your family: I racked my brains and couldn't really come up with anything as my family's not too big on fashion. However, my mum once criticized me in the nicest way only a mother could do by giving me this fashion tip, "I think you shouldn't wear jeans. Your legs look short." Thanks, Mum (BUAHAHAAHAHAAHAH, wow thanks mom indeed!)
What kind of things do you like to do in your free time? Besides blogging and blog-hopping? I like to browse online shops (and make purchases, occasionally *ahem*), go shopping on the high street, watch random stuff on YouTube, go to the movies, have coffee with friends. I'm a just regular girl, really.
If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why? I would want to fly out to Tokyo, Japan. My parents brought me there when I was a child, but it was such a long time ago and I only have snippets of memories of random things, like their amazing vending machines. If I were to go again, I would totally immerse myself in their fashion scene and observe all the different trends there.
Would you consider a full-time career in fashion? I did think about opening a boutique once, but I decided to pour my savings into pursuing my Master's degree. Life is unpredictable, so never say never.
Would you like to add anything else for my readers? Yes, please. Y'all reading this probably already know, but I'm going to say it again, Shasie is the sweetest and friendliest fashion blogger I know! I hope you'll continue to support her blog and keep leaving those lovely comments :D (Thanks so much Joey!! You've always been so supportive, ever since our meeting on IFB! I'm so happy I got to feature you!)
