Dress to Skirt

Ensemble:
Maxi Dress: New York & Company
Tank: Old Navy

One day I was running late for work, and I needed to put together an outfit VERY quickly. I usually go to a dress in these instances. I put on this pink Maxi dress and realized it was now too short...somehow I managed to shrink it in the dryer.  It's actually a tube Maxi dress...so anyway I pulled it down and folded the tube part over and made it a skirt and then grabbed a top to wear with the skirt! Haha. I actually liked the color combos together so I decided to take a picture of this outfit!

  35. great idea! bummer that it shrunk! I can't ever find maxi dresses that are long enough =( any store/label suggestions for a truly lengthy maxi dress? I'm close enough to 5 foot 7 and I have legs, lots of them lol.

  36. Hey girlie I'm 5'7. Other than this particular Maxi, I haven't had any trouble with the other ones I own, and they were either from Express or New York & Company :-)
